Organisation Charting for Oracle ® and PeopleSoft ®
Used by Oracle/PeopleSoft customers worldwide, HRCharter Enterprise Edition allows PeopleSoft users to create dynamic organisation charts based on information from their PeopleSoft 8 system. Optimised for intranet deployment, HRCharter automatically generates information rich org charts and corporate directories at the click of a mouse, improving understanding and communication across the enterprise.
HRCharter makes it easier to review and maintain the reporting relationship hierarchies that underpin many employee and manager self-service processes. With advanced modelling and data mapping functionality, HRCharter is also a valuable tool for HR planning and organisation design.
Key features:
- Creates charts based on position, employee or department reporting relationships (and works with or without position control)
- Charts can display both traditional charting information (name, role, department) and more sensitive employee data (performance ratings, succession plans) to authorised users based on their span of control access to data in PeopleSoft
- User names for HRCharter Enterprise are synchronised with the list of users in PeopleSoft HCM, and user authetication is performed via a Component Interface. This means users need only have one set of names and passwords for both PeopleSoft and HRCharter Enterprise
- User access to employee information and more sensitive data is controlled through User Roles, for example, Employee, Manager and HR Administrator. Rather than having to set up these roles for each user, the administrator can map user roles in PeopleSoft to the available HRChater Enterprise role
- Optional browser component provides additional functionality for power users
HRCharter Enterprise for Oracle/PeopleSoft is available for both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database platforms.
