HRCharter Professional Edition saves time by automatically generating fully formatted charts from your existing HR or talent management solution. When information changes, you simply need to update the source database and HRCharter takes care of the rest, reformatting the charts to best advantage for viewing or printing as a wall map or indexed book chart.
Control chart content and design
A powerful WYSIWYG box editor allows you to create your own box styles, giving you control over the content and design of your chart boxes. Select box shapes, effects, colours, fonts and the information that you want to see displayed. Then save your new box style to the library, so that you can use it again. You can also modify the vertical and horizontal spacing, draw dotted line reporting relationships, change the layout, levelise by grade or turn your chart completely on its side. If you'd prefer to have a different background colour or texture, it's easy to change that too!
See key HR issues more easily
Advanced mapping functionality allows you to relate data to specific colours or box shapes, so that you can quickly identify patterns or anomalies. For example, you can link performance ratings to colours, so you can see patterns or performance or use traffic lights to flag up succession blockages. It's a powerful way of seeing key HR issues at a glance.
Support organisation planning
A challenge for every HR professional today is to understand and communicate the implications of organisation change. With HRCharter, you can easily create 'what-if' scenarios by dragging and dropping employees or entire departments to different locations so you can see the impact, or hide or ghost entries to make it easier to focus in on the important areas.
Print charts the way you want them
With HRCharter you can print either wall map or book charts. Select book chart and HRCharter intelligently splits your organisation across as many pages as required, and provides page numbering and an employee index. You can also incorporate charts in other documents or save them as images for use elsewhere.
Display charts on your intranet
HRCharter's Web Publisher module lets you take the charts that you've created in HRCharter Professional and, in a few simple steps, publish them as fully navigable charts that can be accessed through your corporate intranet or HR portal.
